Hi, I just wanted to share some news I got tonight. I went to see my PCP.. no more testing for blood sugars everyday.. I have been off Insulin and Diabetic medication since the day of my surgery..Nov 2. I am presently weaning from one medication and after that.. I will have only one pill a day . Thats such a huge change since at one time I was taking 15 different pills and insulin. My blood pressure is awesome and I have lost 40 lbs since I began this process...I am so happy. You all share in the bad news.. You all offer encouragement and prayers and I wanted to share good news with you and I know you all will be happy because my good news is your good news. Hugs each and everyone.. Pattie

Isn't that the best feeling Pattie. I have had no insulin or oral meds since surgery either for my diabetes. What a feeling to go from 13 perscription meds to four. Congratulations!!! I know how happy this little tiny thing can make a person. Hugs, Maggie

Having to take all these pills is just one of the many reasons Im having this surgery. I want off all this stuff, and I cant wait. congratulations Patti. Its an awesome feeling to know that your not destroying your liver and kidneys anymore taking this stuff and you look and feel better to boot. Its a tremendous blessing this surgery. A new start, a new lease on life. A "do over". Dontcha wish you could have more "do overs" in life. Congrats again, Im happy for you. Lauren-
