No time for chit chat this morning...
Just thought of something to make it interesting her at the "logs"...lets add our protein counts. It should make for some good conversation!
B-hard boiled egg -6g
S-Unjury protein drink-30g
L-veggie burger and a salad 13 g ?? I need to check this out!
S-Momentum 12 g
D- Chicken 14 g green beans
S-8oz of carb countdown milk 12g
Total=84 g of protein!!

L 3 0z tuna with little low fat mayo
S momentum bar 12 protein
D 3 oz of cod, little salad; little green beans 25 Protein
S simply smart milk fatfree 10 0z = 20 protein

Hi guys! I'm going to see Dr. Aranow today for my 4 week check, then tonight my daughter is in a concert at her school. And of course, tonight the Biggest Loser is on (don't ask me why I love that show so much).
B - egg with cheese (took 1 bite - didn't go down well, so I couldn't eat it). Simply smart milk instead - 8 oz.
L - home made turkey soup
D - not sure yet - maybe a carnation instant breakfast s/f. Depends on how I feel.
S - s/f tapioca
I did much better yesterday with my food. Today, just not feeling up to par. Hopefully it'll pass!!!

I've been missing this list so much this week--- we had a holiday reunion party with our 2nd adoption travel group in NH Saturday. It was great going 68 pounds lighter than the last time I saw these people in China. I got lots of compliments and no one even noticed that I was eating very light. I kept so busy with the kids and catching up on news with the families, that I hardly even noticed the food. Lots of fun, but boy am I tired this week.
I had a weird experience with sliced turkey breast on Saturday & Sunday. I was very short on protein when we got home Sat. nite, so I grabbed a couple slices of turkey breast cold cuts and a slice of cheese. I no sooner got it down, when it started to come back up. I was sick for nearly 2 hours! I thought it was because it was late and I had foods earlier in the day at the party that I wasn't sure of how it was prepared. So I tried again on Sunday, but only tried a couple of bites. It stayed down, but I didn't feel well all day and didn't eat another thing for the rest of the day. I have eaten turkey breast before, so I don't know why it happened. Anyone else have this happen?
Anyway, I took it easy with soft safe proteins yesterday and feel back to normal today.
B= Dannon light and fit lemon lf yogurt = 6g
s= Q-smart soy snacks 1 srving = 14g
L - 3/4 c total protein w/lactaid = 14g
s - glenny's slim carb bar - 13g
D - 3 oz sirloin steak w/green beans 21g
wow!!! 68g!!!! I thought I would come up short today, great idea to incorporate the protein grams Joanie

I had such a terrible weekend (eating wise) so I am really trying to get back on track this week. Yesterday was pretty good, hopefully today will be even better! I feel like suddenly I can eat more and it scares me. Here is my plan for today:
B- 16oz Carb countdown chocolate w/ 1 scoop unjury. (40g) (I bring this in an insulated coffee mug and drink over about 2 hours)
S- Q-Smart bar (10g) (No Momentum bars when I went shopping, but these are pretty good!)
L- 2/3 Small Wend's Chili w/ cheese (15g)
S- Q-Smart Bar (10g)
D- Chicken Fajitas -no shell (~15g)
S- s/f popsicle
Total = 90g
I know there are issues w/ not absorbing more than 30g of protein at a time. Does anyone have any more detailed info on this?

D-Another new low carb recipe.. Turnips, celery, carrots, onion and chicken cooked in crock pot with low carb beer.

Lots and lots of water and SF popsicles...
