I have a date!!!!!!!!

Hi guys, I am so excited. Saw Dr. Barba on Friday and my surgery date is set for March 1st. I am so excited. Just need to get ready, daycare, time off, etc. Hope everyone is well and I look forward to joining the loser's side..

How EXCITING! I had my surgery (Laproscopic bypass) on 9/3/2004 and weighed in at 251 and today 12/13 I am 187. It was the best decision I ever made. I had Dr. Valin in New Haven.

Jennifer, That is great news. I have Dr Barba as well and let me tell you I JUST LOVE HIM. His bedside manner is just so personal. He made me feel so at ease while being prepared in the OR. He came to see me every day. I was discharged on a Saturday and he was there before I left. I can't say enough great things about that man. He and Dr Giovanni are the best!
