Good morning Joanie, and Everyone in CT. It is a really nice day here in Danbury, sun shining, and it's warm.. and my boss is out all week... Before I get to today's menu, I just have to say that last night I ate some pretzels for a snack, which I haven't had for probably 6-8 weeks. I woke up ravenous today... I definitely think it was the high carbs at snack time. I usually have a protein bar, or occasionally some sugar free ice cream, but I wanted to crunch something last night... I can't believe how hungry I am right now, and I already had my breakfast...I can live with the hunger pains, it's okay to feel them these days. They'll pass when I have my protein shake anyway. But, I wanted to share that I am really becoming in tune with my body and what is good and bad for me... If I decide to indulge in those again, I will have to be prepared to feel like this in the morning. A carb hangover? Menu today: B-Carb countdown yogurt S-Protein shake L-Pork chop, spinach and 1 spoonful of scalloped potatoes D-Fish, and I don't know what else yet... Have a good day! Anne

Anne- A carb hangover...its probably true! It didnt bother me not to have them..then as soon as I started incorporating just a little...I was "hooked" again and eating more and more. Still lots less than I used to..but it may be why my weight loss has slowed. More criteria for staying away from that evil food! Thanks! Joanie

So far it has been a CRAZY morning! Glad I'm finally at work while it's quiet, maybe too quiet! I am going to try to do some Christmas Cards today! Anne, I know what you mean about the carbs, same thing happened to me yesterday, but I have a hard time ignoring the hunger so I opted for some cottage cheese. I was full but still wanted something. I am really trying hard to stay away from the carbs. My scale has started moving again and I want to keep it that way! I would love to be under 200 for Christmas. What better gift could I have. I am only 13 lbs away, so I am keeping my fingers crossed! As for eating: B- 16oz CC Chocolate milk HOT (I know I'm a pig!) L- Hard boiled egg & Tbs cottage cheese S- Protein Shake D- Leftovers (Either chicken or beef stew) I ordered some more Chocolate Unjury, I have been cravng it! Hopefully it will be here today or tomorrow! Have a great day! Carmen

Hi guys! What a gorgeous day out there! I thought I'd take advantage of my newfound unemployment and hit JCPenny's for their 50% off sale. Got a few more Christmas gifts for a great price. Aidan and I had a blast, he's almost 15 months old, and that boy loves to shop!!!! As I was walking thru the mall, my pants almost fell down. It was so annoying, but comical at the same time. I remember reading other posts where people described that, but I NEVER thought it would be me!!! Time to retire some of my clothes. I jumped on the scale this morning, and I have a total loss of 40 pounds. It's surreal. I'm thrilled. Anywhoo.....having a hard time eating these past few days, but I'm trying my darndest. One day, something will go down great, the next day, I can't stomach it. Weird! B - 2 oz. low fat cottage cheese (couldn't fini**** though). L - 1 scrambled egg with cheese D - pureed chicken (I think) S - protein drink Hope you guys have a GREAT day - enjoy this weather! ;) love, Tammy

A 15 mo old that loves to shop? Wow! I'd be in heaven! Congrats on almost losing your pants Tammy! Fourty pounds is awesome! I, too, have the problem with different foods feeling weird on some days and ok on others. I have heard others saying it too. It was pretty gray when I left for work today..guess I need to get out during lunch!! Hugs, Joanie
