VGB

Hi Folks, My friend had a VGB last Aug, and is still having issues with food getting stuck.  As it's a new surgery, is there anyone out there that can help?  She's had an upper GI and been back to Dr. Valin's office (his wife does the after care) and isn't getting anywhere with them.  Any suggestions/assistance??? Dr. Bell does this surgery.  I would suggest your friend make an appointment to see him instead.  There's no rule that says you have to follow up with your surgeon. Either you or your friend can also email him to through the Yale website.  He does answer emails...even after hours. ~Sue
