Neil's Surgery
Christine,
You are allowed to rant and rave here anytime you need or want to. That was totally inconsiderate of the hospital and the doctor to leave you in the lurch like that. Like Neil, my O2 stats dropped way down and luckily I knew that was a possiblity because of the sleep tests I had for my sleep apnea. However like Neil it took them along time to move me from recovery and they didn't tell my family where I was either. Now that I look back on it I think they had a hard time waking me up and then I went to the step down unit. They kept me on oxygen the entire time I was in the hospital because my stats were so low all the time. Having said all that I am sure that Neil is fine and doing well today. Please give him our love and tell him there lots of room on the losing bench and we are glad he has joined us.

Hi, Christine!
Feel free to rant here anytime; that's part of what we're here for. That was so inconsiderate of the hospital not to keep you informed of how Neil was doing and where he was. Hopefully by now he's out of CCU and in a regular room. Give him our regards and make sure that you take care of yourself.
