freaking out.....(just venting)

I called my insurance company today to see if i was approved yet. Liz at Dr. Bell's office faxed thru the insurance last Tuesday. My insurance company has still not approved it and i am a week away from surgery. I called Liz after i got off the phone with my insurance company and she said that it isnt odd and they should hear in a few days. She had to fax something else thru to them today. I sure hope i get approved. Everything seems to be going so right in my life right now, i am waiting for that one thing to go wrong and this might be it. I am so ready for this surgery it isnt even funny. My coworker had it.. she is such an inspiration to me. She looks more beautiful every day and just has this healthy glow about her. She seems like a happier person. And she deserves it (can ya tell i love her??LOL)...besides...as she said today....after my surgery....we together...are going to spell TROUBLE LOLOLOL.....j/k anyway... i just had to vent to the "family" who listens...im nervous and scared and happy all at the same time..... have a great night deanna

Deanna, I wish you luck. I really wouldn't worry about it. I don't know what insurance you have, but the ladies at Dr. Bell's office really know what they are doing. I never asked if my insurance company approved or not, I just assumed that if it wasn't, the office would contact me. It is really something you shouldn't have to worry about. Try to concentrate more on getting through the surgery. It will happen. Pam

Hi Deanna, Try to relax! I have the worst insurance for getting WLS covered and I only found out a couple days ahead of time, but I was approved. Think positive, I will keep my fingers crossed for you too! Carmen
