It went great. I've lost 33 pounds (15 preop and 18 post op) and Dr. Aranow is such a peach. He actually offered me an office position at his practice to help out until I find a "real" job. Made my DAY! How are you??

Oh Tammy - that is awful! I am sorry to hear about that. I suppose it is a blessing you were still employed at the time of your surgery. But that stinks so close to Christmas. I hope they made an attractive package for you. Good luck with the interviews! I am crossin my fingers and toes for you! Tara

HI Tara, Yeah, my attractive package was "we'll pay you 6 hours for today." That's it. I didn't get paid for my time off for the surgery. It's a blessing. I already have an interview this morning - I have faith! Tammy

I'm so glad you're taking the bull by the horns & interviewing already. What a crappy company. I'd talk to a few of these ladies who know something about wrongful termination. They might deserve a little payback .... Good luck!!! Kathy F.

WOW Tammie, I can't belive they would do that to you right after returning! Employers can be so heartless. They expect loyalty from their employees but have so quams about what they do to upset people's lives especially around the holidays. Good luck to you with your job hunting. At least you will be able to get unemployment compensation and then at least you can give yourself a little extra time to heal. Love, Sandy
