Joanie's Food Log-Monday
Ahh back to some structured eating!! This scale is NOT moving..I am going to try some aerobic videos tonight along with my walk. NO carbs this week..and all my water. I have been lax about Fitday.com...hmmm--could be why the scale isnt moving? duh! Anyway...I hope everyone has a great week..and that I get lots of participation in my food log this week...

Are you using protein shakes? What brand do you use? Thanks for the info, there is a pile of stuff on the market, I'm on puree for the next 2 weeks, and once I get the OK to drive, I need to go to GNC and sift through all the choices. Once you by the can you own it, even if it tastes like chalk. Thanks for all your sharing and posts.

From what I understand from other people's past posts, GNC will take back anything you've tried that you don't like. I don't know if they refund your money or give you a store credit, but you're not stuck with anything that tastes like chalk. Maybe you should call GNC and ask about their return policy to confirm what I've written here. If I'm right, it seems like a good way to try different products.

As I was packing my breakfast and lunch for workthis morning, I said the same thing, "Structure!! Yay!!"
B- Carb Countdown yogurt, 12g protein
S- Atkins Protein Shake, new flavor - Vanilla Caramel, it's pretty good
L- 2 ozs. chicken and 2 tbsp. linguine
D- leftover Turkey, green beans and roasted sweet potatoes
And Water, water, water.. My skin has dried up like a prune, and my hair looks like I stuck my finger in a light socket, all from lack of water last week.

I am so glad to have some structure back again today!!!! I am already doing better and feel better!
B- Nectar Shake
S- 1/4 banana ??
L- Hard Boiled Egg
S- Protein Bar
D- Cicken w/ lf cheese, lf sour cream and salsa
I have my swim class tonight too, I haven't done any exercise in 2 weeks, I really need to get on track in this aspect!
