Surgery 3 days!

Hi to all, My surgery is on Wednesday and I am getting nervous. I absolutely know I am doing the right thing and have wanted this day for 8 months, but of course like everything now that it is here....Any words of wisdom, any advise, thoughts would be so greatly appreciated!!! Hi Carrie, Wow 3 more days! Congratulations! I bet it hasn't seemed like 8 months have gone by now. I think everyone gets a little nervous, but if you haven't changed your mind in 8 months I guess it's safe to assume you are doing what is right for you. I would do it again in a heartbeat! Try to remain positive, calm, and confident and you will be home mending in no time. Don't forget to bring chapstick with you to the hospital, that was the most important thing for me. Carrie- Words of wisdom? Here? Just kidding...Congratulations on your decision for WLS. It is the best thing I have ever done for myself. Being nervous is normal...but if you have done your research..you are well prepared. What doctor is doing your surgery?? Will someone report to us while you are in the hospital? Oh...one more question...have you taken some BEfore pictures? Blessings- Joanie

I'm sure you are very excited/nervous. You are making a big decision to do something for yourself. Be confident in your decision and know how much healthier you will be..... Good Luck, Carmen
