I am so excited!! I got up at 4:00 AM with my family to go enjoy the excitement of Black Friday. I got some great bargins and have most of my shopping done. The most exciting part of the whole day though was going to Bob's stores and fitting into a size LARGE zip up sweater! From a 3x to a large I still can't get over it! The joy of being able to shop in a regular store. On another great note there were two recipes on the board for pumpkin sf/ff mousse and pumpkin cheesecakes. I made both of them for Thankgiving and they were so delicious! I didn't feel as though I missed a thing this year. I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday! Sandy

Hi Tammy, How are you feeling and how was your Thanksgiving? The grand total right now for me is 68 pounds! I can't even believe that! I am looking much better, although fabulous might be a stretch, I do feel fantastic! Sandy

Hi Maggie, I am so glad they found out the root of your problem. I hope you are feeling great by now. You must have been so discouraged with all that pain. Sorry to have missed you at the gathering. I am very excited at this journey! Sandy

Sandy, I know what you mean! I too was a 3x and am down to a L at Old Navy!!! WOO HOO!!!!!!!!!! Never could shop in those stores before either...I keep heading for the Women's sizes and then I realize... back to the "regular" sizes!!! It is a great feeling isn't it? I made the pumpkin cheesecake from the post and it was awesome! Don't feel like I missed a thing either this year except maybe the 53 lbs that I lost!!! JA

Hi JA, I know what you mean. This is the first time since surgery that I actually tried something new on, so I was quite shocked that it fit. I think I was more trying it on to see how much further I had to go before it would fit! It is such a wonderful feeling to buy something that I liked rather then because it fit! My whole family loved the cheesecake so I made it again today. It was really so good. Sandy

Congratulations Sandy...Shopping is so much fun..although I am finding out that I have NO style! I stopped at Fashion Bug and tried on size 16 jeans that buttoned and zipped..and they fit! Too bad the legs were too big...go figure! Joanie

Hi Joanie, Wow I haven't even attempted pants that button or zip! Maybe someday soon! That will be a dream come true for me. Congratulations to you! If only we could get a spot on "What not to wear" along with the $5000 Visa card. Sandy
