OT-Black Friday Shopping Day!
I looked at all the advertisments last night and decided that if I woke up on my own without setting the alarm...I would get up and go. The shoppaholic in me woke up at 4:35am...I showered and was in line at Kohls at 5:20am~ Missed getting a portable DVD player...but I did manage to get some great bargains..and had 25% off in addional coupons to boot! Then for every fifty dollars spent I got a 10 dollar coupon to spend next week...I got five I love shopping as much as I used to love food! Uh oh!

Pikers! Surrounded by pikers!
I was up at 3:30, and out the door before your baby blues opened.
Comp USA was the first stop, followed by another CompUSA because they screwed up the first order. Oh well!
Then Staples.....
Manchester, East Hartford, Glastonbury, and Middletown which had almost everything I was looking for.
Then home
Noiw it's time for work!

You guys are crazy!!! Although I love to shop, I don't like doing it with a million others. I figure no bargin is worth my shut eye (especially after having 20 people at my house for Thanksgiving!!)
Glad you all got the bargins you were looking for - I will go out later today. I have to have all my shopping done early - surgery on Dec. 22nd to fix my deviated septum (again) and drain my very infected sinus cavities - can't wait!!
Happy shopping!
Nancy
I'm with Nancy...My cat woke us up at 5:30 am and my husband said to me, "Shouldn't you be getting over to the door-buster sale at JC Penney?"
Not in a million years!
I did brave Walmart at 11:00 am, because I wanted to get one thing, which they didn't have, so I was in and out. And this afternoon I stopped at Home Depot to pick up this little carpet. (Of course I bought the wrong color, which I didn't realize til I got home, so I'll be heading back there tonight).
I am a shopaholic too, but I prefer online shopping for most things at this time of the year. My 5 year old however has been begging me all day to take her to Clair's at the mall for earrings. She apparently doesn't mind the crowds..
You guys are brave!
Anne

I worked today and glad I did. I hate dealing with the crowds on Black Friday! I'm gonna avoid the crowds as much as I can...my patience are thin for people pushing and shoving and kids crying!
No, I'm not a grinch, but I want to enjoy my shopping experience...love TJ MAxx, Marshalls and the mall when no one is there!

I too was with the crazies at 6:00 a.m. at Target. I hit a few other stores too and I was glad that I got a few things out of the way. The toy section was not were I was headed and good thing, you couldn't even get near there with a ten foot pole!! I then proceeded to spend the day at the casino with my mom and a family friend and between three of us, the indians really paid out. So, even though I was exhausted by the end of the day, I must say it was pretty productive!
Have a great weekend!
