Hi Everyone, Just wanted to wish everyone a wonderful Thanksgiving! I hope you all have a great day with your family and friends. I have so much to be thankful for this year. I had my surgery, I feel like a new person inside, and have so much gratitude that I was given this opportunity! I am also so happy to have found this CT board, which helped me get through the pre-op wait, helped me with my stages of eating post-op, and still helps me everyday with support. You guys are the best bunch of people! Thanks for being here for me and each other! Happy Thanksgiving! Love, Anne

Hi--I rarely post anything but I want to wish you all a Happy Thanksgiving. I always read the posts but am never sure how I can really contribute. I still have a lot to learn. My surgery was 10-13-04 and I have been on a plateau for a couple of weeks. It has been disheartening but since I am doing all I can, I just keep going along. You have all helped me since the surgery and I am grateful to all of you. Have a healthy and happy Thanksgiving. Hillary

Hilary- Contribute anything...ask for help...being an active member of this board has help me tremendously. I go through times like that..when the scale doesn't move..then all of a sudden WHAM! Hang in there...make sure you are getting in all your protein, water and exercise! Hope to see more posts from you in the future. Joanie

Hi, Hillary! Don't underestimate yourself; you do have something to contribute. Yes, you may still have a lot to learn, but you're still further along in the process than some of us. Sometimes when your experience is more recent, you may remember occurrences and the accompanying emotions better than someone who's much farther out from their surgery, so you may be able to relate better to someone's situation than an "oldtimer" can. Happy Thanksgiving! Debby

Happy Thanksgiving everyone, I believe this messageboard and the members have kept me sane on numerous occassions. I am thankful I was introduced to it. Compared to the other boards we seem to be the ones that really care and are concerned about each other.
