Even though the Lap-band is less invasive than RNY it is still a major surgery. Your body has been through a lot and will take time to heal and adjust! You will be in my thoughts and prayers. I'm sure you will feel so much better in the next few days, Carmen

they only allow you to stay in the hospital one day? Isn't this still considered major surgery?

I'm so so sorry you feel so bad. I had lap band surgery 2 months ago and I also went home the next day. The first few days you feel like you got hit by a truck. In a few days you should feel so much better. The pain meds could make you dizzy and want to stay in bed. If you continue to have problems with nausea or pain I would call my doc. Hope you are feeling better!!!! HUGS ANGEL
