6 cups of 2% milk 1 cup of granular splenda 6 egg yolks 1 tbsp vanilla extract nutmeg in a sauce panover medium heat mix together 5 cups of Milk and 1/2 cup of splenda, bring the mixture to simmer. In a bowl beat egg yolks and 1/2 cup of splenda together slowly pour half of the hot milk, blending until smooth. Pour the eggs and milk mixture back into the sauce pan whisking until well combined. Stirring constantly until custard is thick enough to coat the back of a spoon, do not let it boil. Remove pan from stove and stir in vanilla and 1/2 tsp of nutmeg. cool, pour mixture though a fine mesh strainer, cover and chill. Before serving stir in 1 cup of milk and YOU CAN ADD RUM IF YOU LIKE (1/4 cup), if necessary to achieve desired consistency. Serve in small glasses with nutmeg on top. 80 calories, 2 grams of fat, 6 grams of carbs, 4.5 grams of protein, makes 12 1/2 cup servings I will be trying this!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Carmen
