Dr. Aranow and L&M

Does anyone know if Dr A. accepts the L&M hospital support group meeting as part of the pre surgery regimen? Cindy

I *beleive* that he wants to you attend the support group meeting at Middlesex Hospital. You have to sign in there when you attend so I would imagine that he wouldn't accept going to a different group. I think that once again he wants to see your commitment to attend. I love the support groups there but when I first went for my consult I didn't want to have to go because it wasn't convenient for me. I don't live near the hospital and my husband works evenings and it costs me $40 in babysitters when I go but it was (and still is!) worth it!

Hi Cindy No You have to go Middlesex hospital to sign your name and Dr Aranow prefers at Middlesex hospital for 4 times. Then after that you can go any support group any places. I will go to Post op support group in middletown even though I am from Waterford. I love all of my friends there and I always attend all over support group meetings and meet new friends. I am looking forward to meet you there tomorrow if you can make there. You can ask me any questions about processing from Dr Aranow. Kathy K
