up at 3:30 AM to exercise?????
yep here I am on the boards at 4:22 after completing my 1st "walk away the pounds" tape. I have had these tapes for about 2 years and only used one, which I have since lost. I unwrapped and just completed the 2 mile walk and got a nice workout! I can't believe I am posting this in the wee hours, but I decided to put my money where my mouth is because I have been complaining about not having any spare time since returning to work to exercise anymore. I woke up at 3 did some laundry and figured what the hey? Now is as good a time as any.
I NEVER would have or could have done that 2 months ago. Just thought i'd share since I have plenty of time to burn before I have to be at work today. I will probably fall asleep on my desk this afternoon, but I got my exercise in!!
Hey Terri,
I am glad you did it! I am proud of you! I did excerise my bike at 345 am to 415 am then hit shower and go to work at 530 am too! Also I will go see my personal trainer tonight and will have sore muscle pain which Dr Aranow called good pains! I am sooooooo busy this wee****il Thanksgiving and cnanot wait Holdiays are over so I can go back to normal.

I just LOVE it there. It is so much fun. I used to be a work out nut when I was in my teens/early 20's and i forgot how much I used to love it. I go at least five days a week and do aerobics twice a week. The Y that I go to has some really great low impact classes that are awesome. You can make them as easy or difficult as you can handle.
The facility itself is gorgeous. So many ammenities. I even got my husband to go! He will actually work out if he knows he can go in the steam room and hot tub after, lol. This is a man that I never saw exercise once the whole time that I have known him ( and that is a mighty long time,
)
All in all, I am so happy that I chose the Y over curves because I know that it is benefitting my whole family while we all get in shape together. Two of my kids are on the chubby side and I have so much guilt over that but slowly they are getting used to our new healthier ways.

Hi Terri,
You are not alone with the early mornings. I find I am unable to sleep very late and usually am waking up around 4:00 am. So today I got up took my shower, did a load of laundry and went out for a 2 mile walk! I feel great but can't stay up past 10:00 pm anymore. I wonder if it's age or the new me since surgery! Congratulations on making exercise a priority!
Sandy
