Great Party!

What a great time I had at the party. I have to admit, I was a little nervous about coming by myself, but you all made me feel so comfortable right away. When I read Peter's post saying that you could never tell that Lisa and Anahid ever had a weight problem, he is right. When I walked into the restaurant, I was standing right next to them and Kathy B. and saw them holding presents, but thought there must be another party here today. Funny how the mind works. Anyway, you guys sure were an inspiration to me. It is so hard to imagine myself being a normal weight when I have only been a normal weight for about 10 minutes of my whole life! Seeing you guys and spending time talking with you made me realize that it is possible. I went home yesterday with such hope! Lisa, I loved your holiday dress story! Christine, I thought your husband was so cute when he said how hot you were. And Carolyn, what a wonderful book! Thanks for bringing it and sharing it with us. Thank you Lisa, Anahid, Kathy, Joanie, Carla and everyone who took part in organizing yesterday's huge success. It was great seeing my new friends again and meeting so many of you in person for the 1st time!!! Looking forward to the next gathering. p.s. Janis, I did not realize until seeing Joanie's pictures that you are "JA"!!!

I have been looking at the pictures and reading posts and I am so upset that I had to miss the party. I am going to the next one for sure. It is so wonderful to see everyone having fun and enjoying each others company. Let me know when the next one is and I will be there for sure. Hugs Pattie
