Sounds like you are doing what we do when we are first out. Some things go down others don't. Even now some thing**** the tummy like a rock. The other week I had something that just sat in my tummy and I thanked God for dumping cause it wasn't moving so I drank some juice and made myself dump. The thing is it was was leftovers from earlier that day and they went down fine. Good luck with everything and glad you are getting better.

I had a TT w/Dr. Stefano Fusi drfusi.com is his website.  He's an incredible doctor and I highly recommend him.  TT cost is $5,000 plus anesthesia which is about $1250.  That's done in his OR in his office.  If you go to hospital or other facility, it's more. Good luck. JA

I had my 4 hernias repaired and then an abdominoplasty and brachioplasty by Dr Richi(hernia surgery) and Dr Brown (PS).  The hernia surgery was covered by insurance so I only had to pay a portion of the O.R. bill and anesthesia because I was there anyway for the hernia repairs.  It was about 3k for the MD 1200 for the anesthesia and 1500 for the O.R.     Good Luck!  Dr Brown is great--in Middlebury.  Has done thousands of WLS patients.

Hi I rarely come on over here to the Ct board, but I did today so I thought I would jump on your question about plastics, I have had two rounds at Yale and yes it is a teaching hospital so the residents do the surgery under the care of the chief of plastics, Dr John Persing.  Hes incredible.  You can add me as a friend and see my plastics pics, I have had a full tt, neck life and brachioplasty, I am going back from my thighs at some point when I can take the time off.  I highly recommend them. Good Luck Hugs Heidi

Hi Heidi, I've been on vacation for the last week and am just getting back to looking at my e mails. Thank you for the feedback on your surgeries at Yale.  I will add you as a friend so I can check out your plastic pics.  I think we had our surgery around the same time  in 05 you look so fabulous.  I will need the same full tt, brachioplasty , I could do the thighs too but not sure so that will be the last.  I can't say how many times over my vacation I wish my arms were done so I could go sleeveless (not pretty ).  If I kept my arms down it doesn't look too bad but being the active person I am I would look like an Irish step dancer (lol).  Maybe next year at this time I will be free from taking flight. :)

Thanks,

Linnybin

I just had my 3 year post op with Dr. Bell and discussed a TT with him...I too am concerned about what it may cost me.  He gave me some surgeon recommendations but also told me that Yale has a plastics/cosmetic clinic that is VERY reasonable.  Surgeries are done by a doctor (it's the law in the states but not Mexico that an actual doctor performs the surgery) Anyway, he estimated that a TT through the clinic would cost me around $3,000 and said that the patients he has sent there have raved about it.  I'm holding off but am planning to schedule a consult in the fall and hopefully have surgery around November.
