Surgery Scheduled

Hi Everyone! I am scheduledd for surgery for this coming Tuesday to remove my gallbladder and repair my mesh from previous hernia surgery. Please remember me in your prayers. I am so nervouse about this even though I feel confident in my surgeon, Dr. Reinhold. Hi Cheryl, Hope you will soon be pain free and able to enjoy all of your weight loss succes. You are in my prayers... A question--are they going to remove your GB laporoscopically?? or will they do open since the need to fix the mesh? Much Love Joanie

Hi Joanie! Wow, I am so overwhelmed by all the support I get from everyone on this site. You are all so wonderful to me and make me feel so good. Thank you. Dr. Reinhold said he would start off lap and try to keep it that way so my recovery is shorter, he did warn me though that he will most probably have to go open as he needs to get to my mesh. So we'll see. I was so impressed by him as he could have just handed me off to his associate but didn't knowing what I've been through and changed his schedule to do my surgery himself. He had concerns about the deep infection I had in my original incision and said sometimes the infection goes deeper and could result in lots of scar tissue. Again, thank you for all your prayers!! You're in great hands with Dr Reinhold - he did my surgery and I just have nothing but the utmost faith in him. Hey Girlfriend, Thanks for letting us know when your surgery is scheduled for. You know that we will all be praying that this will be successful and the last surgery you will need. I do soooo know that you need to be pain free and to get on with your healing. We love you and can't wait for you to be back on here full time again. Do you have any idea how long you will be in the hospital cuz I would love to try and get there to see you. We still haven't done dinner so maybe we can meet at St. Raph's..........Oh which reminds me I heard that the new Coldwater Creek openned in Canton which I hear is right near you......hint hint hint.
