Good Morning- I am leaving in a bit for my appt with Dr. Arnanow. Thanks to Debby Marcus for calling me with directions to his new office. I am wearing size 16 pants...I have been doing this wor a while...16s with elastic waists. I bought a pair of pants on a sale rack in Sept...size 16s with a side zipper...put them on this morning...they fit wonderfully! Gosh I just wish I was a bit taller! Oh well..no surgery for that! Here is what I am eating today. B-cottage cheese half cup L-chicken caesar salad-meeting a friend for lunch S-protein bar-bought a new kind at BJs...??? D-pork roast...salad Will let you know about my appt tonight! Joanie

Hi Joanie, Congrats on the size 16's...I am almost there, and it is one of my personal goals, can't wait... Menu: B- 1 packet of Low sugar apple/cinnamon oatmeal...Hope it's low sugar enough, I don't want to especially at work... S- Protein drink L- Leftover pork roast and broccoli D- ham steak, some kind of veggie mix. Have a great weekend everyone! Can't wait to see everyone tomorrow! Anne

Congrats on the size 16 If you find a way to stretch yourself, please let me know as I am a mere 5'3 and am tired of hemming everything. Well I still have no appetite, so I continue to eat in no particular order: Carb Countdown Smoothies, Detour Protein Bars, Carb Well Peanut Butter Cereal Bars (yummy and 10g of Protein), Kozy Shack SF pudding and SF popsicles. Occassionally some real food will sound good and I'll go for it, but after one bite I don't want it. Even my beloved Egg Beaters does nothing for me. Oh well, what's a girl to do. Hope you all have a great weekend. I'm so looking forward to seeing some of you tomorrow night. Hugs, Maggie

WOW! A 16 is great! I can't wait to fit in those again...... My stomach pain is gone, so as long as it doesn't come back I can start easing back into "regular foods".... B- 2oz Cottage Cheese S- Protein Drink L- 2oz FF Refried beans w/ lf cheddar and dallop of lf sour cream D- Egg Salad (1 egg) S- Protein drink I haven't been getting much protein on liquids, so I need to try harder! Had a pretty stressful morning today. I ususally ignore the phone early in the morning because my husband fowards his cell to the house at night and if he forgets to break the fowarding, his calls will come into the house. With my very busy morning schedule getting 2 kids and myself out of the house by 7, I just don't have time to field the calls. Well, it bit me in the butt today, cause it was my daycare lady calling in sick and... well... I found out as I was about to drop them off! ARGH!!!! My oldest had nursery school this morning so she was taken care of for a few hours, but I had to bring Ava to work with me. This is when I really miss my Mom who was my daycare backup until she moved to Florida last month. It really hit home that she isn't here anymore and I got all weepy about it. I was such a mess this morning! Anyway, I got an afternoon off at the end of it---so it didn't turn out too badly, but it was the 1st time since surgery that I really felt like I missed my old buddies, Chocolate and Potato Chip. I wanted to reach for something to sooth my stress and depression and realized that I couldn't. I ended up taking the girls to the chinese restaurant for lunch, one of the buffett types. I cracked up at how little I was able to eat! I had about 4 little shrimp ****tails, 1 chicken teriyaki stick and a couple of coconut chicken pieces with 3 green beans and felt like I ate 5 plates of food! What a difference. Anyway, thanks for reading... and listening to my pity party today.
