Saw Tammy L. and LaToya

After my appointment with Elina, I went to the hospital to visit Tammy L. and LaToya. When I got off the elevator and started down the hall, I saw a woman walking towards me. As I got closer, I recognized her from her picture on this board; it was Chica Flores. I said, "Hi, Chica" and she looked at me as though she was thinking, "Am I supposed to know this woman?" (I guess that's what I get for not having my picture up yet.) I introduced myself and we spoke briefly as she continued her lap. She'd had her surgery just the day before, but looked good and moved well. I continued to Tammy's room, but she wasn't there; she was walking laps and was on the opposite side from where I was, so I didn't see her in the hallway until she made her way around. She was walking with Tammy S. and introduced her. Tammy L. looks great! You wouldn't know that she'd had surgery just two days earlier. Tammy then walked me over to LaToya's room and we visited. LaToya looked good, too, but was a little sore and was ready for a nap. Seeing all of them was almost like having a reunion in the hallway, even though I'd never met Chica or Tammy S. before and had only seen Tammy L. once. This board really gets us bonding with each other so quickly that when we do meet it's like seeing an old friend! Debby

Thanks for the update. Glad to hear all are doing so well. This board is great. I hear so many other people I know from different states say how OH is their least favorite board because no one seems interested. I'm so lucky I live in CT where we're all like family here. Maggie
