Wow - I am alive again!  I feel pretty good!  I am able to eat and stopped throwing up about 5 days ago. I do not have much energy but have finally turned a corner and started improving. I am taking my vitamins now and eating more. I still can not get the protein shakes in but its a start. That stricture was a big deal I guess~ Thanks for the Concern Matt

That is wonderful news Matt.  I'm glad you're finally on the up swing.   Hit the Vitamin store for those "test tube" proteins I mentioned earlier.  one contains 42 grams the other 25.. they're a little on the "thick & sweet side" but they're do-able and will help keep your protein & energy levels up.  2-3 oz's each tube. I supplement with them since my surgery in April and have noticed an improvement with my energy. I'm so happy you're doing better. Mickey

For what it may be worth, Matt, if given the choice between vitamins which can be very irritating (particularly early on) and protein drinks, I would definitely opt for the protein drinks. They tend to be packed with a fair complement of vitamins, plus they have protein that your body needs to heal (and to prevent muscle loss while losing your weight).
Congrats on feeling better.

Good to see you are feeling better. Have you tried unflavored protien powder? You can mix that in different drinks and in food, ie make protien pudding, or add to oatmeal ect. Keep trying to get your protien, I am sure you will  find one that you can tolerate.
