Sorry I couldn't make it tonight ladies. I had my babysitter all lined up and had the kids fed and the house presentable. The problem? My babysitter completely forgot! Okay, got it out of my system! We missed you Eileen. The meetings in Hamden are very informal--but I like it. Debby and I were there. My friend who is considering WLS came also. Another former co-worker also was there and came out with us to Applebees for a bite to eat. The next meeting is Dec 6th. On another note Debby is coming close to the end of jumping through hoops and the endless paper trail. I want everyone to keep her in their prayers..that she can get this surgery done and approved by Healthnet by the end of this year. Joanie

Hi, Joanie! Thank you for your request for prayers for me. I think what I most need right now is to get what seems to be my impending period before my Thursday appointment. I feel bloated and the needle on the scale is creeping in the wrong direction. At this point I'm not so sure that I'll show a 10-lb. loss when I get weighed Thursday. Do you have any suggestions of a way to lose the water weight fast? Hugs, Debby
