Plastic Surgery
Hi all -
I haven't been on in forever and was looking around and didn't see this answer so if it is an already ongoing topic I appologize.
I had Lapband surgery in November and I am currently down 122 lbs. I have another 124 or so to go but I was wondering about when to contact a plastic surgeon? My issue right now are my "bat wings". They are really bad and making it difficult to wear shirts etc. I keep telling myself that I should wait but then when getting dressed etc I get so upset.
Any inupt would really, really be helpful.
Thanks so much!
Heather
Hello Heather...I am currently down 162 pounds with 71 to go....Dr. Bell told me that we would be talking plastics at my July appointment...
I know what you mean about the bat wings....I totally feel like a big bowl of JELLO when I look in the mirror...and I laugh...I am so blessed that all my other health issues have gone away, that the bat wings are a blessing!
you are doing a great job!! Keep up the good work!
Blessings,
Jennifer
I totally agree - I've earned these wings and if it weren't summer I dont' think they'd be bothering me as much but I so want to see them go and I am working out so I know they aren't going to disappear!
You've done wonderfully! Isn't it just amazing at how far we have all gotten? It's all like living a dream!
I completely agree about the 'living a dream'...sometimes I have dreams that are so real that its hard to determine if its really a dream or not...........I am waiting to 'wake up'....and am so afraid that it is going to happen...you ladies are doing a great job...keep up the good work and congratulations!!!! ~ huggs, laura
