APPROVED - HAVE A DATE - UPDATE ON TONSILLECTOMY

HI EVERYONE I WAS APPROVED BY ANTHEM BLUE CROSS BLUE SHIELD CENTURY PREFERRED FOR THE LAPAROSCOPIC ADJUSTIBLE GASTRIC BANDING. THANKS FOR ALL YOUR PRAYERS. MY SURGERY DATE IS DECEMBER 21, 2004. THE DOCTOR¡¦S OFFICE SENT IN MY APPEAL ON 12/5/04 AND I RECEIVED MY APPROVAL LETTER ON 12/14/04 UPDATE ON MY HEALTH I had my tonsillectomy on Tuesday, December 9, 2004. Lots of paid but everything went well. Then Saturday, December 14, 2004, I ended back in hospital ¡V hemorrhaging. Lost a lot of blood; almost needed a transfusion. They gave my 6 bags of saline. I came out of hospital today but I need a lot of rest. I am very happy I did not have the two surgeries together. I now have about a month to recover from this ordeal. I am very lucky. I DO NOT HAVE AN ANGEL: WILL SOMEONE PLEASE BE MY ANGEL

Congradulations on the approval and date. Sorry to hear about your complications with the tonsilectomy. Know that must have been a big scare to you seeing it happened to me also when mine were done. I lost 4 pints of blood with mine. I will pray that everything else goes alot smoother for you from here on out. Heidi
