Ohla Everyone Well I am back from beautiful hot Can****he weather was absolutely gorgeous and I was not at all thrilled to come back to the cold. It was a very relaxing vacation however I did swim with the dolphins and that was just totally awesome . I know that I would never have done it never mind enjoyed it a hundred pounds or so ago. We spent most of our time reading by the pool and being in the water. The food was okay. I had no problems finding things I could eat. I will say though that it is good to be back and back to my bed (the bed's there were like boards) and to my regular food routine. I still have not broken my plateau but I didn't gain anything either so that is a good thing. I will post some pictures soon so you can all see how beautiful it was there. Oh yes the one down note about the trip was that I fell Thursday night and hurt my back (again) and my right foot. I remain a klutz and guess I will always be one...... Thank you all for your kind words regarding my one year anniversary. It really has been an amazing year........well really almost two years since I started this process. I do want to thank each and every one of you for allowing me to be a part of your lives. This has been an incredible journey, one that I could not have done alone. I have a new lease on life, new home, new car, lots and lots of new clothes and new friends. What more could a girl ask for?? Well I could ask for this plateau to be gone but.............. Seriously though, the changes have been incredible and there is still alot more work to be done. I feel that I have been blessed with this opportunity to make significant changes in my life and I refuse to blow this chance. Thank you for being my supports and for sharing your struggles with me. Adios for now..........See you on the 20th!!!!!! Linda

Linda, Glad to hear you had such a great time in Cancun. I have never swam with the dolphins before but I have heard that it is a magical experience from all that have done it. Sending plateau breaking vibes your way ~~~~~~~~ It is very frustrating to do all you can and still see that dern scale not move! Eileen

Hola back at ya lady! Welcome home and Happy Anniversary!!! I sure hope you managed to get a nice tan doing all that reading by the pool and swimming with the dolphins! But geesh...hurting your back and foot is NOT the way to end a vacation! Want to borrow my cane?? Hee hee, just kidding - you better not need it!! Now be healthy and we'll see you on the 20th!!! Hopefully I'll recognize you as the one with the tan and the big smile!!! Hugs, Carla

Welcome home!! I am so glad you had fun. I can't wait to hear all about it. I am planning on going there for my 50th birthday next year with my best friend who is also turing 50. We have another thing in common, the KLUTZ KLUB! I have so many black and blues now! I just bump into things all the time and trip too. I think because we lost weight, we lost our equilibrium. Good theory huh? Of course that wouldn't explain the first 48 years of my life, but oh well it sounds good for now. I can't make it on the 20th. But hoping to make the next get together. My hope and prayer is, that I will be having my gallbladder surgery over Thanksgiving break so I won't have to take a lot of time off from work. So we'll see. I think Dr. Reinhold is also going to try to trim my mesh from my hernia since it pokes into me. ouch! I am so glad you had fun and it's wonderful to see your smiling face again! love u ~Cheryl

Welcome back Linda, Sounds like an amazing trip. Swimming w/ dolphins is an amazing experience. I did as a child, but didn't truly appreciate it! I hope your back and foot feel better soon! Carmen
