WOW, that's great!!!  90/60 seems kind of on the low side, to me.  When I'm 100/70, I'm fine, but any lower and I get SO lightheaded and have to add a bit of salt to my diet. Never been on any meds, just a natural low BP person, it wasn't an issue prior to surgery.. But, not knowing what your BP was prior,  (I'm assuming it was sky high, even with meds) that you should be VERY proud of yourself!!! Goal:  This next test will prove you can come off the meds!  YIPPEE!!!!! Paula

exactly!  I had been suffering from Congestive Heart Failure prior to surgery--with sky high pressures!!  My cardiologist is BEAMING!  He said and I quote, "I believe you have successfully saved your life!" so I am looking forward to the Echo stress that will tell him which meds I can back down on...WOOOHOOO

Susan....I had not heard about Jim..HOW SAD--I am so heading to Hartford whenever there are congressional hearings about getting the insurance companies to cover WLS...my cardiologist believes it saved my life..why shouldn't ever one be allowed to have this surgery covered!!!
