I am glad to hear everything went well for you! I too had very little pain (woohoo!), and it really made for a quick recovery!
I tell ya, that anestesia does funky things to ya, it makes me cry over every little thing.....
As for protein drinks, everyone's tastes are different. I tried the Atkin's shakes and Isopure when I got home and couldn't tolerate either. I still can't stand the milky ones at all! I like the clear Isopure bottled drinks (get a couple at GNC) Grape and Blue Raspberry were the best.
Also go to www.bariatriceating.com, they have samples you can order. That way you can order several different kinds to try and not get stuck with a big container of soething you don't like!
The Unjury powder Anne mentioned is also GREAT!
