I just wanted to say "Hi" to every one here on the CT board. My DH and I are moving into our first home in Colchester, from Worcester, MA. I am from Hamden, CT so I kinda know the area. My DH works at Mohegan Sun and I am still looking for work, well maybe after the holidays- I am in no hurry to go back to work. I had my WLS on May 5th of this year at New Eng. Medical Center in Bosten and everything went great. I have had, and am very thankful , no complications. I have lost 82lbs and I am just loving it. I just wanted to introduce myself and let everyone know that I would love to talk with them. I love to talk to anyone, but I am 26, so if there is anyone my age out there PLEASE e-mail me. I am new and have no friends. I feel like the new kid at school.

I justed wanted to thank everyone for making me feel so welcome. I am not as so as I made myself sound, I do have family, my mom and grand-ma, still in Hamdan. I do have a friend in the area, and a few in RI. I didn't mean it to sound like I had none. But I love to make new ones, especially WLS friends. Thanks again for all your responces. Hope to chant with you more Kasey -82

Kasey-Welcome to the CT Boards. This is a great place for support. There is a support group meeting in Hamden on Monday that a couple of us were planning to attend. Its in the senior center at the Miller Library. I know that is a little far from Colchester..but if you are ever visiting your folks on the first or third Mondays of the month come and join us at 6:30pm Again Welcome Joanie

Hi, Kasey! Welcome back to CT and welcome to the CT message board! I hope to have my surgery before the end of the year and have been posting on this board for about 3 months now. I've been lucky enough to meet some of the members of this group and I must say that this is the most helpful, supportive, caring group of people I've ever been involved with. They definitely are like a family (or better)! Congratulations on your weight loss! Debby
