Joanie's Food Log-Saturday

Good Morning...I cannot believe I woke up to snow on the ground!! Incredible. I have been up since 6:45am--had to drive my son to work at 8am...picked up my great nieces bday cake at the store. I did some cleaning before the carpenter came to give me estimates on some new doors. I have the car packed full of presents for the baby-I shopped for my Dad, brother, aunt and sister! Since my sister moved to Fla--I have been playing surrogate grandma for this sweetie! I am TOO young to be a grandmother! After all, I still have an 11 yr old of my own!! I am exhausted from shopping, wrapping and cooking for this party. Its not even 9:30am and I am exhausted! OK..here is the eating plan for today. Breakfast-left over chicken florentine (chicken and spinach) S-protein drink L-turkey breast deli meat and salad--bringing my own lite dressing D-???????????? Will report back later! Joanie

I can't believe there was snow today either!! Took the kids out and played for awhile. I couldn't even last 10 minutes last year and forget about bending down to make a snow man. We stayed out for an hour today and made a slushy snowman that was looking pretty darn good, till it collapsed. It just felt good to be able to play and romp with the kids an not be exhausted. That is why I had this surgery and it was so worth it! I took Abby to see the Wiggles last night.... what a hoot!
