SURGERY DATE ON NOVEMBER 23,2004 LAP BAND

I AM HAVING MY SURGERY IN TWO WEEKS CAN ANYONE GIVE ME SOME ADVICES,I WILL HAVE THE LAP BAND.

HI I HAD LAPBAND ALMOST 2 MONTHS AGO I FEEL GREAT. I AM DOWN40 LBS . MY FIRST FILL IS WED. GOOD LUCK ON YOUR SURGERY. FIRST 2 WEEKS YOUR ON LIQUIDS, THEN NEXT 2 WEEKKS PUREES, THEN SOFT FOODS. I GREW UP IN BPT.HOPE THAT HELPED YOU OUT, ITS ALL UP TO YOUR DOCTOR. LINDA

Hi there: I know you from Dr. Floch's website, Let me start by telling you you could not have chosen a better group for your surgery. The Floch's and Dr. Ehrlich are the best! They are caring and supportive and have an outstanding after care program. You're in good hands!! I had bypass but there are a lot of people on Dr. Floch's website that have had lap-band and can give you whatever information that you may be needing. Reach out to the people on their website, they're all very supportive and more than willing to help you. If I was able to give you any answers, I'd be glad to help. Hi D! I was banded on August 18th and it was the best thing I have ever done for myself. I am down 43 lbs so far and more active and happy than I have been in a decade. My best advice is just to follow the advice that your doctor will give you to the best of your ability. There is a lap band support message boards on AMOS under communities and there is another good band message board at spotlighthealth.com.
