Spray Vitamins

Hi, I have come across an article in my reading travels that is discounting the efficacy of spray vitamins in terms of absorption...it stated that basically they just coat the lining of you mouth with little absorption, and implies that as such they are a rip off....I know some medicine is readily absorbed sublingually, but don't know about the entire lining of the mouth. I am thinking that swallowing a bunch of pills at first might take up the whole pouch like a meal....trying to learn as much as I can beforehand. If you have any knowledge about this would appreciate reading it. Thanks, Sher'

I am not a professional, but my nutritionist did give me samples of the spray vit's. If I remember correctly she said their biggest downfall is that they have no minerals (Iron etc). Even if the are not absorbed through the lining of the mouth, they still end up getting swallowed.... I personally don't like the flavor anyhow so I just stick to chewables. Carmen

I received some spray vitamins from my nutritionist, also. I am glad I got a sample, the taste was not for me. The brand I was given can be purchased at WalMart for about $12.00. I have an unopened one if you would like it. Just email me and I could get it to you somehow. Definitely try it before you buy it! Let me know, Anastacia

Hi Anastacia! Thanks for your sweet offer, but I am guessing I might not like them much either!!! I appreciate the good advice! Sher'
