Joanie's Food Log-Saturday
My house is clean! The promise of having a friend over...was my daughter's motivation to help me and its noon--and its all done!! Going to bundle up to go to her soccer game at 3pm...and going to try to go to see the high school production of West Side Story in Hamden tonight. I find taking my daughter to these inexpensive plays really introduces her to some classics. I have been doing this for years. They may be sold out..but hopefully if we stand by we can get tickets.
B-1 hard boiled egg
S-protein drink
L-chili
D-have a recipe for a homemade minestrone soup I am going to try.
S-Momentum..what else!!
Have a wonderful weekend!

You'll be happy to know...I got tickets--standby--- fouth row! It was worth the wait! Lauryn made a goal at soccer today--(second week in a row)and was on cloud nine! Took her to Bennegans for dinner...I had steak and garlic mashed potatos(quarter cup!) and green beans. It was incredibly good! The play was awesome...very moving and my 11 yr old "got it"... I am going to look around for more high school productions..if anyone hears of anything not far from me--pls let me know
A full day.....I am beat..gnite gang!

That is a great idea. When my daughter is old enough to sit still we should try it. A lot of lessons to be learned and a fun tradition!
I have my daughter and her friend (both 4) all day and am going crazy. Put them both in a dance class at the Y, which was more stress than fun! They want to do a sleepover, but I am not too sure....
B- 1/2 scoop nectar
L- 1/2 BK chili (mostly just beans)
S- 1oz cheddar
D- We will wait and see....
Hope everyone is enjoying the weekend!
Carmen
Hi all,
Well being back to work makes it hard to post my food logs anymore. We are forbidden to use the internet at work.
Anyway, I was so happy the other day when I went to Ruby Tuesdays with the girls from work. I had my 1st salad! Never thought I'd be excited about having a salad. I ordered the 1/2 turkey & bacon pannini sandwich w/ salad bar and it was DELICIOUS!!! I ate the insides of the sandwich and a little bit of the bottom half of the pannini which was sliced very thin and toasted. It just felt so good to handle going out to a restaurant.
anyway, we went to New Hampshire for a friend's 40th bday party yesterday, so didn't eat or drink very much
B - cottage cheese
s - coffee w/beneprotein
L - cold cuts and cheese in pita w/ hummous and a dab of artichoke dip
D - 2 oz leftover steak
