Peter made fun of my logs last night. He said he didn't believe I could plan that far ahead in my day. I did make a small confession--that sometimes my meal plan changed during the day. My log from yesterday got lost in cyberspace somewhere...no one noticed! Here is today. B-hot choc SF with cc milk S-protein shake L-left over chicken from TGIFs...1 string cheese S-apple D-Chicken...with a side of vegies Joanie

Joanie - I find it VERY helpful - and plan on going back to check out your food logs for ideas once I am post op. Love the SF hot chocolate idea. Do you have to add any extra protein in it? I'm hitting GNC this weekend for my Isopure, a few different drinks and my B12.

Tammy- I just used the cc milk...12g of protein plus 2 in the SF Hot chocolate...not bad for a 14g protein drink. I added protein powder to it once and it didn't mix well...so I cut out that idea. I did my 30 g drink for a snack..with the chicken and string cheese I had today--I have had 63 g of protein...not even counting dinner! I am trying to stay away from coffee..and through the summer it was easy. Now on the cool mornings..something warm like the SF hot choc is just what i need! Joanie

Hi Joannie, I too was going to post about "Where's Joanie??" I look forward to the food log. I don't really want to post mine today because I have eaten too much high fat foods already, and dinner hasn't even arrived yet. B- Carb Countdown yogurt S- Protein Shake L- The meat and cheese from a 3"wide slice of a 3 foot grinder, and 3 Fritos. D- Pork Chop, green beans My boss bought the 3 foot grinder for us for lunch. I went on fit day and posted the food I ate, and the lunch meat had way more fat than I imagined. Yuck!! Time to get back on track. We all have off days, right? But I don't want to have off days, I want to do this perfectly.... I know, not possible, but my head says different. Enjoy the rest of your day! Anne

Anne- I can always count on your paticipation! It doesn't sound like you did all that bad. Last night we were talking...seems I have days I cannot get enough food...and then days that I can't eat much at all. It all balances out I guess. Tomorrow I'S another day..and we have this tool forever! Joanie
