Joanie's Food Log-Halloween

Happy Halloween!! I bought candy I had my husband stash in the garage about a month ago...I have been finding hints of wrappers all over the place..I think one of the kids found it. I sure hope I have enough for the kids tonight! Just got back from a 2 mile walk...need to pick up my kids from Religous Ed. OH...SKUNK! Last night I let our dog out at 2am...she came rushing in three minutes later...smelling like skunk! So there I was a 2am..with tomato juice and doggie shampoo. Cleaned the tub...changed my wet PJs...and slept with the attic fan on because my house still smelled like SKUNK! The dog smells fine but this morning my house still wreaks of SKUNK! EWWW..I am going out to buy some Fabreeze and some sprays..and then check under our porch to see if the little guy is still there..Yuck! OK...Food Log B- 1 egg w/ 1/2 slice of rye toast S- protein drink L-Low fat ravioli... S-Momentum bar D-??????????? not quite sure yet Looking fwd to meeting you all in Hameden tomorrow. Joanie

Happy Halloween. I didn't pick up any candy until yesterday. We usually just leave a bowl on the porch and take my daughter trick-or-treating around her grandparents neighborhood. She had a ball at the aquarium last night despite the wet weather! B- couple bites of ham steak and 1oz oatmeal L- 2oz tuna D- no idea yet.... Carmen

Happy Halloween Joanie! We have candy all over the Cox Radio building .. and I am getting tempted left and right. SKUNK! My dog got sprayed. My husband bought this pet skunk remover stuff and it really worked well! You just wipe it on with a papertowel. One of the cats got sprayed 3 times .. all in the same week. Whatta mess! Trick or Treat on the skunk thing, hey Joanie??... hope the smell goes away soon. The girls are so excited--today is Halloween! Abby is going to be a bat and Ava is going to be a Hershey Kiss. Going to the kid party at the school tonight. Should be fun. As for eating.... Yesterday was the worst temptation day I have had since surgery. One of Jack's friends from work is Chinese and we went to a birthday party for their daughter. Well both Grandmas were at work in the kitchen all day cooking these awesome homemade Chinese dishes! I was eating the pork insides of pot-stickers and taking the chicken out of the chicken fingers. Then this awesome pork dish came out that I didn't have to peel at all! I did fine, just listened to my pouch and had a protein bar just in case I couldn't eat anything, but never opened it. As much as I tried to avoid eating all the grease, some did get in and I had an upset tummy for a while, but drank a lot of water afterward and everything was okay. Today, just gettin' back to basics. It will be tough with all the candy coming into the house today. I am still at the "scared to death to dump" stage and will not eat any, but it won't stop me from wanting it. Have fun tonight guys and ghouls!
