I am off AGAIN today--better enjoy it..next week I am working the entire week-no days off until the weekend! I have a sick kid home with me today. Lauryn (my 11 yr old) was up a few times during the night--sore throat, feeling generally lousy..so I kept her home from school today. I planned today--so I wouldn't have to leave the house. I was out all day yesterday--got my hair cut/colored last night and at 9:15pm..I was grocery shopping. No weekend plans set yet...just a soccer game for Lauryn and Halloweening on Sunday. My kids are off from school on Monday and Tues. Tuesday night I am going out with some girls to see the movie "Ray" ..OK..here is the eating plan for today B-1.5 oz of low fat cheese melted on rye toast S-protein drink L-tuna w/lite may on a garden salad w/ lite dressing S-Shoo!!!! I am out of momentum bars..and forgot to buy them yesterday!! Oh..I have been dying for an apple..I know carbs..but ya just gotta when you feel the need. I havent had an apple since surgery...I will peel it and see how it settles. D-Perdue Low fat chicken with salsa and lite sour cream Joanie

Hi Joanie! My weekend sounds like yours does. Gymastics and karate with kids and Halloween. Having a bday party for my hubby at a local chinese restaurant Sat. night, but other than than, NOTHING planned. Gotta love it! B - English muffin with FF spread L - baked chicken with a little rice D - salad with some sort of protein - might be more chicken. S - not sure yet. So hard to watch what I eat when I know in 2 weeks, I won't be eating anything but fluids!

This weekend I will hopefully be doing ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!!! Am absolutely crazed with the thought of it. LOL. Sunday night is league nights so I will be doing the pool thing. Pre Op, but here is my food log for today: B - Plain Rice Cake with LF Peanut Butter & 20 oz of Crystal Lite L - 1 c Steamed Broccoli with 3 Steamed Shrimp, no sauce and 1.2 c rice. S - Dannon Lite N Fit Yogurt D - Tuna Fish with Free Miracle Whip and Relish and Low Carb pasta Have a wonderful weekend all!!!

Happy Friday! Joanie, let me know how you do with the apple. I haven't had one yet either, I have been afraid of dumping. I tried a dried apple ring, and it was really sweet, so I didn't have any more. (The label showed no sugar added, but you never know). Here is my menu today: B- Carb Countdown yogurt S- Protein shake L- green salad w/2 tsp mont.jack cheese and lite dressing D- Not sure...my mother in law is leaving for Ecuador in the morning for 3 months, so we are headed over there tonight. (probably will end up having chicken and rice, I swear that is the only thing they ever make!) Although I hate turning back the clocks and losing an hour of daylight, I am looking forward to the extra hour of sleep this weekend. Anyone else not know what to do with themselves last night with no baseball on? We didn't know what to do, so we went to sleep early!!
