My daughter is not feeling well, and I HAVE to go to work, so she will go with me.... I will try to stick to my plan, but it's hard to say! Good morning. My boss just toasted a bagel in the kitchen, and my office is right next door. mmmmm it smells good. I haven't been eating bread, and the thought of a toasted bagel smothered in butter is so tempting. Good thing I don't have any with me. Also, just beacuse I am tempted doesn't mean I have to indulge in it! I am on a mission to be healthy. Here is what I Will be eating today: B- Carb Countdown Yogurt S- Protein shake L- turkey on a whole wheat wrap (again) D- Hamburger no roll, and something else, not sure yet S- Protein bar Have a good day everyone! Good for you Joanie, taking control and going for that extra walk to counteract the bread incident. That is already changing an old habit, in the old days, maybe you would have continued on the carb train, right? Carmen, hope your daughter is feeling better. Went on a walk with Linnie today. We have been walking at Ocean Beach while my oldest in in nursery school. I am going to miss these nice walks Linnie and I take when I go back to work on Monday. I am noticing that I feel much fuller now that I am adding veggies and fruits to the diet. Had my 1st steak the other day and it was delicious! It is so funny to see how many times I can make a meal out of 1 steak compared to pre surgery! B- cottage cheese and 1/4 banana s - coffee w/beneprotein L - 2 oz steak, 1 veggie patty D - Ginger teriyaki chicken breast w/ spinach s - Momentum bar, 8oz Lactaid Beautiful day out there! I'm kind late getting on the food train. I, too have really enjoyed these walks with Terri at Ocean Beach and I am going to miss the excersize and the commraderie(sp?) I have to go back too although I am looking forward to the routine. Joanie, you did make a change-you burned off some of the extra calories.. Thats what this whole process is about. Changing our old habits. Those carbs are calling me already! I open the bag of chips and smell. O:k I finally confessed. I'm a closet sniffer. --Only food, that is. Anyway..besides the sniffing, today I had: B-cottage cheese L turkey chile and zucchini S-Protein shake D-Beef stew Linnie
