I CAN NEVER BE SEEN NAKED AGAIN!!!

Boy was this afternoon eye-opening!! I went to see a plastic surgeon in Fairfield, Dr. Bluestein, who works with Dr. Tran. He did a consultation and examination ... and took pictures. He said I have a very large hernia, ought to get the abdomi.....plasty & a breast reduction/lift. I'm all for these things -- pray to the plastic surgery angels for approval, because I can't afford it otherwise! Anywho, after he took the pictures, he sat down to discuss my options, and he SHOWED ME THE PICTURES!!! OMIGOD!! The phrase "you'll look good with clothes on" really hit home! Oh boy!! I really, really need to have my inner thighs lifted, though insurance will never cover it. Yuck!! As you can tell, I am having major, major bad body issues this afternoon/evening. I called John & said "how can you stand to see me naked?!?!?!?!?!" He was, as always, very supportive. Meanwhile, I'm going shopping for a full body suit so as to hide everything ... I'll be okay. I'm just freaked out. I hope I get the surgery approved. Color me sad today Kathy F.

Hi Kathy, Although I have not had that consult yet I can totally understand your emotions right now. I never thought I would feel like this as it was soooo much more important to lose the weight. And yes it still is so much more important but it is also discouraging to see the sagging and wrinkles that you know all weigh something but there isn't anything you can do about it without winning powerball. I am sure that John doesn't care what you look like naked because he is sticking it out for the long run and baby you now have a long run to look foward to!!! . I am praying to the plastic surgery gods for you and if anyone has any ideas on how to get the legs paid for Kathy and I are all ears!!!!!! Linda

Somehow, I have a fear (reasonable, I believe!) that the Maury show would involve some manner of humiliation before you could get to the good stuff. Much as I want the surgeries, I wouldn't show my flappy parts to the world for a million bucks!!! And they'd probably have some person come on to scream at us for having the surgery ... you know daytime TV!! I'll apply for Extreme Makeover ... and get new teeth, clothes, etc. along with the improved bod! Kathy F.

Hope you get approval to. I am only five months out and can't stand to see myslef with no clothes on. My inner thighs and boobs are horrible. I'm planning on getting a boob lift, but heard the thighs are painful. Hopefully when my back is better, I'll be able to tone them. Maggie

Kathy- I know you are upset...but your post made me laugh! You look wonderful...and have come such a long way! Hey your anniversary date is pretty close! When I decided on the surgery I never thought I would even opt for reconstructive surgery..now that I am down 58 lbs...I want it all! Funny how that works! I pray that the "Plastice Surgery Angel" comes to your aid..and you can get this covered! Don't be sad... Joanie

Don't sweat it. Like i tell people, I'm like a 2.5 oz hot dog in a 4 oz casing! Imagine, there are 3 peopkle in this house that have lost over 100 lbs each! There are more wrinkles than any ironing board can handle! Hubby didn't marry you for any specific weight, size, or shape. Hair color, maybe. None of the rest! There are some very sexy body suits out there. Find one (www.tinalingerine.com(and she has plus sizes too)) and enjoy being with someone who loves you for you, not for anything else. Peter

Hi Kathy Thank you for sharing your upset feelings and can understand your feelings. Your sweetheart must love you who are you. Once you had this plastic surgery, you will feel love your new body than where you are now. I will pray for you for your insurance covered for this surgery.I will expect my stomach will become wiggle soon after I will lose some weight. Thank you all so much for your supportive posts. It was a shocker -- of course these pictures are taken to make you look as BAD as possible for insurance purposes ... it worked!! Poor John kept circling last night, saying I want to say something helpful but I don't know what to say. And reiterated that he liked me just the way I was, but we'll get it done somehow, because he knows how important it is to me. He's such an angel. As are all of you!!
