New Pain Experience ...

I know I'm not the only one for whom this is a new experience. I still have plenty of flesh/skin on just about every part of my body; however, having used the bicycle for exercising and sitting on metal stands for 2 football games this weekend ... my butt bone hurts!!! I believe I have reached the stage where my generous cushion has grown too small! Granted, I will happily learn to live with this issue, but it's pretty funny to actually feel uncushioned! Hope everyone has a good day! Kathy F.

Hi Kathy, I had the same thing happen Saturday. I was sitting on the gym floor during my daughter's karate class, and ouch!! And I still have a good amount of cushion there! Have a good day! Anne

Sure you've got a bone there! What has it been doing......hiding all these years????? That was the 2nd bone that I noticed. The rib cage was first. Then, the hip bone. I guess they grow bigger as of the surgery! Time to buy a cushion to carry since you aren't carrying a cushion any more! Peter

Kathy, I have had this problem for acouple of months!!!!!!!! It hurts so much if I sit to long and thne it feels like my bone is going to pop!!!!! Sometimes I wonder maybe it's better to have that extra padding. I asked my Doctor if this is normal and he said it was, that I would have to get use to my new body. Carmen

I can SO relate!! I broke my tailbone a few years ago and once the initial pain went away it didn't bother me too much, thanks to the padding. Now if I sit on something hard I'm suffering!! I noticed my collarbones first...and this morning I noticed a funky bone sticking out of my shoulders and I asked Gary is that was normal. I personally believe it's where my wings were clipped... Darn Kathy! The pad that went wherever you went was so convenient too. I guess you will have to carry one with your hands the next time to protect your newly found tail bone. I bet you never thought you would be glad to have a sore butt. Good for you! Terri
