XPost - New Pics In Profile - 4 1/2 Months Post Op

OK, so here we are at 4 1/2 months post op and down 88 lbs and I can FINALLY see a difference in my photos. I think my head's been a little messed up for a few months....still today, when I look in the mirror I don't see a drastic difference....but now in pictures, I can see that yes, indeed, I have lost weight. I posted new pics in my profile - under My Family Photos and My Weightloss Journey Photo Albums. I've had two people call me anorexic....at 182 lbs, I hardly think I am anorexic and to hit my ideal weight (according to the BMI chart), I still have 51 lbs to lose. If I don't lose all that, I will still be happy with my progress.

All I can say is WOW! You look like a new person, just beautiful. Congratulations on your 88 pound loss and in only 4 and 1/2 months. You must be feeling so good too. It takes a while for our heads to catch up with the changes that occur with our bodies as we lose weight. I am just over two years out and still have a hard time believing what I see in the mirror. Keep taking photos to compare with your preop photos. In time your brain will accept that yes, this is really the new you.
