A brisk day out there already! I am going to put a chicken in my roaster for tonight. It never defrosted enough to cook yesterday..so everyone else had sandwiches and I ended up with hard boild eggs. I have to tell you..hard boiled eggs really keep me in track. I know they are high in protein but they really "fill" my pouch so I don't feel like eating much after having one. I know they are high in cholesterol..but since I am doing such low fat I am not going to worry aobut a few eggs a week. Lots of driving with my daughter (Lauryn) birthday party, Religious Ed, and a football game at 3pm...should be nice and cold by that time...Brrrrrrrr! Stay warm CT! B-Hard boiled egg S-Unjury pwder and Carb Countdown milk L-tomato soup with 1/2 sccop of unjury and 1 slice of low fat cheese.. S-Momentum bar D-Roast chicken, small amt of mashed potatos--and vegie Joanie

HI Joanie~! I just wanted to thank you for the daily food diaries. They are really helping me get an idea as to what I'm really in for after my surgery. Can you tell me though, what is unjury? I assume it's a protein powder, but it's one I haven't heard of. Where do you find it and it sounds like you can cook with it? Thanks so much for sharing! Heather

Heather Carmen was right...need to stir the Unjury in while the liquid is a bit warm then cook and stir. I had it in hot chocolate this morning and didnt do that and it clumped up. Its tasteless and does not change the texture of the food. You can get it at http://unjury.com/ Joanie

It really is a chilly day. I have had a hard time getting started.... Since it's almost lunch time now, I guess I kinda missed breakfast B- SF tang and pills L- Leftover Chicken w/ a sprinkle of LF cheese S- Nectar Roadside Lemonade D- We are going out for our anniversary tonight. I do believe shrimp is ok for stage 5, so I am thinking a shrimp appetizer...... Not sure where we are going yet though! Joanie, be careful with the tomato soup.... if you add unjury to hot soup it clumps! I add it in the beginning and stir very frequently while heating.... Have a great Sunday.... I am taking it easy. Cleaned yesterday and back to work tomorrow

It does look pretty chilly out there. B- 8oz lactaid ff milk, scrambled egg L- 2 oz chicken breast, 1/2c. vegitarian chili D- don't know yet... have chicken in freezer, but may try some seafood tonight s - Glenny's slim carb bar Go RED SOX!!!!!! Terri
