How does anyone remember what diets they have been on and how much weight they lost on each one of them. I have to go back 33 years and I'm really having a hard time remembering. God knows I was probably on all of them. Any suggestions???????????? Thanks, Cindy

I just tried to remember different times in my life. I did mostly WW..starting when I was 13! I did it all on the computer...the doctor was impressed. I just remembered what I could and made up what I couldn't! Joanie

I did the same as you Joanie, approximated the dates, times, and lbs. When I couldn't be exact, I suddenly "remembered" Robin

Why are you having to go back 33 years??? Sounds a little excessive. Peter

I did a search online using "diet list". It came up with numerous websites that listed various diets. It really helped jog my memory. I was able to correlate the time with various events in my life to get the timeline. I just approiximated what I had lost on the various diets. I am sure there were many more that I tried too. Here is a copy of what I gave to Dr. A Diet History for Eileen Zetoff Date Diet Lbs lost Lbs regained 1981-1985 Low Calorie Diets 50 50 1985-1986 Weigh****chers 20 20 1986 TOPS 30 30 1987 Weigh****chers 10 10 1988-1989 Nutri-System 25 25 1989-1990 Nutritionist supervised 30 30 Low-Fat diet 1990 Susan Powter 40 40 1990 Jenny Craig 10 10 1991 Scarsdale Diet 15 15 1991 Cabbage Soup Diet 7 7 1991 TOPS 15 15 1992-1993 Weigh****chers 25 25 1994-1995 Various Low Fat Diets 50 50 1996 TOPS 10 10 1997-2001 Pregnant 3 times-didn't diet, steadily gained weight 2001 Deal a Meal 30 30 2002-Present Atkins 45 45+ * Most of the diets in the 1980s & 1990's were used in conjuction with Dexatrim and exercise. I hope this helped. Eileen P.S. for some reason it won't paste very well from MS Word. The first number is pounds lost and the second number is pounds regained.

Hi Cindy, I tried to be as accurate as I could and then winged it. I can't remember what happened last month let alone 10 years ago. Jeesh. I even had some old food logs that I had kept on my numerous Diet rides. If you have a sibling or other relative who has been close to you and would know of your history it's good to sit with them when you do it too. I sat down with my mom and sister and they helped alot. Best of luck to you hun. ~Julie~ RNY 8/9/04 -69 lbs.

My history got returned from the nurse first time around; so then I became obsessive and wrote everything I did or even thought about doing, and W O L L A......I got approved. So wing it...like everyone else said...that's the best advice. GOOD LUCK. JA
