IBS

Hi All, I had my gallbladder out nearly 6 years a go secondary to gallstones....I have noticed since then that my tummy would rebel against high fat foods or sugary foods in a way that parallels the description of " the dumping syndrome"...was wondering if any of you had any irritable bowel symptoms, problems or dx before surgery and if so...how has surgery affected it? Sherill: I had IBS that wasn't related to stress. Since the surgery, it's gone (even tho my job is MORE stressful than a year ago). Whether the WLS and IBS disappearance are related, I can't say, but the timing is too coincidental not to be at least considered . . .
