Got a call that I was not expecting

Hey all just wanted to share. Guess who just called me? Lois from Dr. A's office. She said that I had cmpleted most of the steps and lost the required 20 pounds so I can schedule my surgery. I asked her how what the earliest date she had and she told me on 11/2 so I agreed but then I thought about it and that was too soon. The next available one was 11/8 so I took that one and ran. She said they would do insurance approval next and then call me to confirm. I will not be paid for the first two weeks off from work because I am out of the PTO at my job but I hope my job does not make a deal out of it and just give it to me as leave without pay. Well I guess no big Thanksgiving for me but hey it is well worth the trade off. I am trying not to get too excited due to the fact that I have not received insurance approval yet. Just wanted to let you all know.

Congratulations!!! Most insurance companies are pretty good about getting an answer to the Dr.'s offices within a few days if not sooner. You'll know soon enough. I'm sure everything will get the A OK. Best of luck to you. Take care and God Bless. ~Julie~
