Can any math wizzes out there help me?? I need to figure out how many ounces 1 1/2 liters is. I tried a few websites, but, call me clueless, I don't get it. Math was NEVER my strong point. (unless of course it's money and we're talking shopping & % off!) Anyhow...I need to drink 1 1/2 liters of gatoriade a day...per instructions of my RE doc...due to sufffering from an unfortunate and painful side effect of fertility medication...plus do other stuff- like rest...(yeah right). So, I feel like a human water balloon. (hey- it it doesn't go away, maybe that's what I should be for Halloween!) Ok, so this is in addition to my normal 60 oz that I'm supposed to drink of water. I'm drowning over here. But, EXACTLY how much am I supposed to be drinking? Any help is appreciated. Thanks!!! Lisa C

Hi Lisa! A Litre is 33.8 oz. So you need to drink 33.8 plus 16.9. That equals 50.7 for the Gatorade today. Hope this helps!

Lisa -- I'm glad Christine knows her Math ... the only subject I ever failed!! I'm a complete math-phobe. I use my Catholic school math horror story (anyone who ever went to Catholic shool has one!!) as the source of my math-phobia and inability to balance a checkbook. I hope you'll be feeling better. What you're doing is not easy but it's noble. So what's another 50+ oz. of liquid, right? Ugh!! Good luck! Kathy F.

I actually work in the Account Management department of a major insurance company. I have to do a LOT of math quickly in my head sometimes, so the skill is there. However...geography and science are a mystery to me. Maybe we could all get together and go back to school.....lol....like we have time!

Lisa, I am sure glad someone knows there math out there, cuz I don't and always HATED the subject. But I DO know a little about anatomy,... and it seems to me, you're gonna need a catheter! Hang in there, Robin R

Hi Lisa, Well I am soooo glad that someone was able to do that conversion for you immediately. I will tell you that it really isn't that much to drink. I drink about 120 oz + daily and have no problems doing that. Just carry your bottle with you at all times........ Personally though Gatorade has never been something I could handle but a woman has got to do what a woman has got to do. GET THAT REST GIRLFRIEND!! We want you healthy and pregnant Linda
