Fortunate Opportunity with Dr. Bell

I just wanted to let you know that I am 5 weeks out of a VSG by Dr Bell-he is the best-the surgery was a breeze-he is very experienced-my care was the best-when he came to see me in the hospital he pulled up a chair and sat like he had all the time in the world-when ever I have had a question I just email him and have an answer within a couple of hours-I researched many  of the surgeons in CT and he is the best.  He has been doing the VSG for the longest in the state and he doesn't make you jump through hoops to have the surgery or have preop tests that aren't necessary just because that is what they do on everyone-he individualizes everything.  You couldn't be in better hands.  Good luck Jeanne

Nice to hear that you are doing so well Jeanne.   You're correct, I didn't have to jump through any weird testing either AND I got to eat up until the night before surgery.....NO starvation liquid diet beforehand.    My surgery was a breeze and I've never had a single complication.  Welcome to the losers bench! ~Sue
