I am back in my wonderful house!
Hi Everyone, I am so glad to be home, it got a little crazy at the hospital they had an overflow and had to put an extra bed in the room.
A GIGANTIC Thank you to all who posted for me and checked up on me. I feel FANTASTIC. And Yes ladies ...I did put my make up on,
I figure why not??As Linda said , the surgery was a piece of cake.. BUT They had a miserable time getting the IV in, It took them 45 minutes in the OR ( I thought Dr Bell was gonna have a heart attack waiting for them!!) But he he was so calm and cool. So after the tortureous IV ( which they finally got in my FOOT) Everything else went beautifully. Don't worry about the IV pre-ops, Not everyone is like me...I am one in a billion, I have teeny tiny veins.. that like to hide, collapse and roll. Go figure( SOMETHING ON ME WAS SMALL!!) From my previous gall bladder surgery I had a section of small bowel that was adhered to my Abdominal wall, it took him some extra time to dissect thru it. All is well now.I am home, gonna have some boost, and hit the bed. I am so glad to hear Kathy K is doing well, I thought of her all day, and wanted to stop in on my way from the hosp, but my Hubby frowned at me and said"You need to go easy". Soon Kathy Soon!
I love you all~!! THANK YOU again!!Kiss kiss kiss,!! and no I am not high on pain meds, Just extremely thankful for all the support!
Woo Hoo I have arrived!
Blessings~ Robin R

Welcome home!!!!!!
You sound like you're doing great. I too am one of those people with problem veins, although I never had to get any *****s in my feet -- OUCH!! I thought with weight loss it would be easier for them to see/find my veins -- no such luck. I'm told I'm stuck with what I got -- little, rolling veins.
As your hubby said, take it easy for now. You'll be up in about soon, and watching the scale slide down.
God bless!
Kathy F.
