Kathy K is doing FANTASTIC

We saw Kathy tonight and she is doing awesome. She walked around the nurses station at least 25 times today. Lisa C and Kathy B cant believe how good she looks. Shes running circles around all of the other gastric patients there. Up walking, sitting on her own, moving like she barely had anything done. No complaints, happy as a clam to have it over with. She sends her regards and thanks everyone for your prayers. I will see her again tomorrow night. Lauren

Holy Cow..She IS doing great! She was well prepared for this surgery. I thought I was..but it was a struggle...I think I did 10 laps each day..and it killed me! WTG Kathy! Thanks Patty for the update! Joanie

Hi Lauren, I was going to stop in tonight but I figured Nah, she probably isn't feeling up to it, the day after surgery..>WOW!!! I'm bringing my sweats and sneakers tomorrow when I go to pay her a visit! I'm so happy she's doing so well. She's an amazing woman and deserves to have the best recovery and success at this. Thanks for letting us know about Kathy - I checked all night and finally had to log off. I am so proud of her and didn't expect anything else - she is such a great person and so deserving of a smooth recovery. Those going to see her, please tell her that her Waterford buddy Nancy sends her love and best wishes and I will see her when she is up to visitors at home. I am so excited for her!! Nancy

I agree! I was astounded to see how well she was doing. It goes to show how far a great attitude can get you!! Sheesh, I was a little worried about her making sure she gets enough REST- which is SO opposite of what I though I'd be worried about. Anyway- A very nice dinner date was had afterward by Lauran, Kathy B and I...it was nice getting to know you Lauren and also nice catching up with Kathy B! Thanks for the company girls! Best, Lisa C
