you are all angels!

Thank you all so much for your kind words and emails. This was my first posting, and I am sitting here in my office with tears in my eyes for your generosity. I am nervous but very excited, and now relieved to know that you are all a click away. Your responses made it even more imperative that my husband and I get a computer at home! A couple of direct responses about Dr. Barba: While he's not stuck on a BMI of 50, I don't think there's too much wiggle room. I lost 21.5 to get closer to the 50, and am continuing to try to lose another 10 lbs before the Big Day. Also, I had my surgery date four days after my 1-on-1 meeting with him (which, as you know, doesn't come until everything is done). have a great day!

You are doing great Heather. On your way to the losing side... Your 21.5 lb weight loss is fantastic. I had to lose 10 before surgery and it was the hardest 10 lbs I ever had to lose! Keep up the good work... Blessings Joanie

Hi Heather, I am glad you found the board, everyone is here to help and support you in every way they can. They are a GREAT! Bunch of people. Hi Heather, I'm so glad you found us on the board. It was the best thing that ever happened for me also. I don't know what I would have done without the Angels here. What are you doing for your diet now? I had great luck with The South Beach Diet pre-surgery. Keep up the good work. Your surgery date will be here before you know it. ~Julie~
